Crews Working To Get Water Back On

They say it’s a mess…Flooding at a nursing home in Swanton shuts down Airport Highway. Officials tell reporters it happened after a water sprinkler broke overnight at the Swanton Valley Center. The parking lot of the nursing home was underwater. Swanton Fire used their truck to help pump the water out. Officials say the water will be shut off to a portion of the village, as repairs are made. Staff at that nursing home are scrambling to take care of their patients…no telling when they will have the water back on. Traffic has been backed up and is being detoured.
