Deadly Accident At BFG Plant

An employee at the BFGoodrich plant in Woodburn is killed. Police and medics were called to the site, on Old U.S. 24 for an industrial accident. The victim died at the scene. The Allen County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 48-year-old Sean Redden of Fort Wayne. An autopsy found Redden died of multiple crush injuries…his death, ruled accidental. The incident is under investigation at this hour.
