The Defiance County commissioners update a project to rehabilitate the elevator in the courthouse. The project plans were presented and it is expected it will be ready for bids to be opened in late January or early February, officials tell area reporters. The board also went into executive session with Executive Director of Economic Development, Erika Willitzer to discuss some opportunities. The commissioners reviewed personnel matters with the Child Support Enforcement Agency, as well as the agency’s budget for next year.
