Defiance man sentenced in Paulding County double murder case

A judge handed 43 year old Bradley Gillespie of Ashpacher Road in Defiance two consecutive 15-year to life sentences Monday morning for two counts of murder, with a gun specification on each charge for the murder of two Paulding County residents. The charges stem from the deaths of Paulding residents 21 year old Hannah Fischer and 47 year old Frank Tracy Jr. Paulding County Common Pleas Court Judge Tiffany Beckman said the sentences were to be served consecutive to one another in order to protect the public from any future crime. Beckman did inform Gillespie that he had 30 days after sentencing to appeal his case to the Third District Court of Appeals.
