DeKalb Students to Get Chromebooks

Ear­lier this week, DeKalb school offi­cials approved a plan that will put a Chrome­book in the hands of every stu­dent between grades 6 and 12. The school board ok’d the pro­posal to request bids for the pur­chase of over 1400 of the machines at about $215 per device, a sig­nif­i­cant sav­ings over tra­di­tional laptops.
