DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over runs from Aug. 16 to Sept. 2nd.

The Williams County Sher­iff says that this sum­mer, Williams County has expe­ri­enced an increase in impaired dri­ving vio­la­tions, includ­ing sev­eral fatal-alcohol related crashes. There has also been an increase in OVI cita­tions, may includ­ing unusu­ally high blood alco­hol lev­els.

Ohio State High­way Patrol troop­ers will be out in force to stop impaired dri­vers before and dur­ing the Labor Day hol­i­day.

The Bryan Times reports that last year, troop­ers from the Defi­ance Post got 16 impaired dri­vers off the road dur­ing the cam­paign. Their goal is to increase patrols even more this year.
