Driver Slams Into Defiance Building

A man from Indi­ana was locked behind bars, fol­low­ing an inci­dent in which he drove his vehi­cle into a Defi­ance build­ing Sun­day morn­ing.

23 year old David Good­mann was south­bound on Degler Road, when he failed to stop at Spruce Street. He slameed his SUV into a build­ing occu­pied by Applied Indus­trial Tech­nolo­gies, caus­ing exten­sive dam­age.

Good­mann was cited for OVI, dis­or­derly con­duct, a stop sign vio­la­tion, fail­ure to con­trol and dri­ving under sus­pen­sion. He was taken to Mercy Defi­ance Hos­pi­tal with injuries, then to CCNO.
