The Edgerton Village Council on Monday night, voted to rezone property on the west side of Ohio 49, just north of the intersection with River Street, in order to accomodate a new strip mall. The property is the frontage of the Flegal Farm being developed by Al-Phine Development, LCC. The Bryan Times reports that there had been a public hearing on the zoning change scheduled prior to the council meeting last night, but no one attended. Since there was no opposition to the proposed change, and adjacent residents had registered no comments, council waived the three readings of the ordinance to approve the measure immediately.
