Edgerton Moves On Zoning Issue

The Edger­ton Vil­lage Coun­cil on Mon­day night, voted to rezone prop­erty on the west side of Ohio 49, just north of the inter­sec­tion with River Street, in order to acco­mo­date a new strip mall. The prop­erty is the frontage of the Fle­gal Farm being devel­oped by Al-Phine Devel­op­ment, LCC. The Bryan Times reports that there had been a pub­lic hear­ing on the zon­ing change sched­uled prior to the coun­cil meet­ing last night, but no one attended. Since there was no oppo­si­tion to the pro­posed change, and adja­cent res­i­dents had reg­is­tered no com­ments, coun­cil waived the three read­ings of the ordi­nance to approve the mea­sure immediately.
