Edwards Case Update

Johnny Edwards, the Napoleon man charged in connection with sexual assault in the city, appeared by video in court. Edwards, 26, was taken into custody in Toledo on Monday and charged with one count of rape…this, after a report of a sexual assault on Welsted Street. He was granted a court-appointed attorney…a preliminary hearing is set for May, 30.
