Elliott Will Answer For That Bench

14 years ago, Gerald Elliott was indicted for vandalism. The career trouble maker destroyed a picnic table at a Montpelier park. You may remember him. Before then, back in April 2002, Elliott was charged with five felony counts after a vandalism spree in Bryan that included 22 vehicles at one local car lot and six more at the Bryan Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership. He also left damage at the Bryan Auto Depot office building and a mail delivery truck at the Post Office. Total damage was estimated at more than $23,000. Elliott was convicted and sentenced to 14 months in prison. Then suddenly last week, word comes in Elliott is currently held in Lima…for months…on other charges. So, after a decade and more passes…the long arm of the law has their man for that picnic table. Elliott is now in custody at the Corrections Center in Stryker.
