Escapee Turns Himself In

In Adrian, a man who escaped from the County lock-up has turned himself in.

Lenawee County officials say Scott Henning, who escaped 10 days ago when the lock on his cell malfunctioned, turned himself in Friday morning after having been on the run for more than a week.

Henning was serving 93 days in jail for violating his probation on a reckless driving charge, when he escaped almost two weeks ago.

No details have been released by police as to where Henning was during the ten days he was on the run. It’s still not clear what, if any, additional charges may be filed against him in connection with his escape.
