FAKE MONEY REPORTED IN THE AREA

Some funny money has turned up in the area, and busi­nesses are not laugh­ing.

Sev­eral Pauld­ing County busi­nesses, espe­cially gas sta­tions, have found some coun­ter­feit $20 bills in their tills. The cur­rency looks and feels dif­fer­ently, the color is a lit­tle darker and the cut around the edge in uneven, accord­ing to inves­ti­ga­tors.
