Fatal Crash In FC

A Metamora woman dies in a crash in Lucas County…on Fulton County Road T. Officials tell reporters…Michelle Herr was eastbound…while Omar Shead was northbound on North Fulton Lucas Road. Herr crossed toward Brint Road…when her vehicle was hit by Shead’s, as it was coming through the intersection. Both vehicles careen off the northeast corner of the intersection and overturn into a utility pole and trees. Herr was pronounced dead at the scene. Shead and his passenger, Dyana Cruz, 31, of Adrian, were taken to a Toledo hospital. All involved were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, officials say. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected factors in the incident. The crash remains under investigation by the Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
