Fireworks in Defiance approved on limited basis.

On July 4th, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day there’s an approved compromise allowing fireworks discharges in Defiance on a limited number of days is in the works. During its recent meeting Defiance City Council easily approved a related amendment to a pending ordinance that would have banned all fireworks other than professional displays. The matter was one of four legislative items handled by council.
