First Maumee River Fest planned for April 11th.

In April, a brand-new springtime custom honoring Maumee and one of the city’s most well-liked yearly events will begin. Uptown Maumee and Maumee Tackle Fishing Outfitters will host the first Maumee River Fest on April 11. According to a press release from the city of Maumee, the event will have three components: a fishing contest weigh-in, community fun, and the Walleye Run 5K. Offering something for everyone, the festival hopes to appeal to “families and festival-goers to anglers and runners.”
