Flames Destroy Barn In Paulding

Flame on Wednes­day evening destroyed a barn in Pauld­ing County. The fire was first called in just after 9pm with a report of a blaze on County Road 49, near Payne at the barn, owned by Thomas Laukhuf. Payne, Pauld­ing, Scott, Grover Gill and Con­voy fire depart­ments, as well as Scott EMS all rushed to the scene. An antique trac­tor and a cou­ple of hop­per wag­ons were destroyed in the fire. The cause has not been deter­mined. It’s under investigation.
