A Fremont man has been arrested after police say he left the scene of an accident which downed some power lines in LaGrange County west of Orland, which caused some power outages in the area. It happened at the intersection of 1100 East and 750 North, where deputies found a 2002 Pontiac overturned. The driver, 20-year-old Austin Willms, had left the accident scene before officers arrived. He was later found, and he returned to the accident scene. Nobody was hurt, but Willms was locked up in the LaGrange County Jail on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Leaving the Scene. Willms was also cited for unreasonable speed due to the weather conditions.
