HENRY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE BUSY

The Henry County Sheriff’s Depart­ment says that on Sat­ur­day morn­ing around 7:25 a.m., on US.6. in Har­ri­son Town­ship, a north­bound vehi­cle dri­ven by 22 year old Chelsea Smith of Napoleon, lost con­trol on an icy bridge and struck a median bar­rier. Dam­age to the vehi­cle was heavy.

Also on Sat­ur­day around 7:30 a.m., on U.S 6, in Har­ri­son Town­ship, a south­bound truck dri­ven by 39 year old Joseph Walsh of Indi­ana, lost con­trol on an icy bridge and struck a con­crete bar­rier. Walsh’s vehi­cle then jack­knifed. A vehi­cle dri­ven by 43 year old Ann Hut­son of Indi­ana stopped to assist Walsh and her vehi­cle was rammed by another vehi­cle dri­ven by 36 year old Edward Kauf­man. Hutson’s vehi­cle then struck Walsh’s vehi­cle. Dam­age was heavy to Hut­son and Kaufman’s vehi­cles and mod­er­ate to Walsh’s. No report of injuries.

Sat­ur­day, an ATV was reported stolen in Ham­ler.

On Sun­day, candy was reported stolen from Fam­ily Dol­lar in Deshler.
