HICKSVILLE RELAY FOR LIFE THIS WEEKEND

A 5-K run/walk, cruise-in and Zumba demon­stra­tions will all be a part of the Relay for Life of Hicksville, which is sched­uled for Fri­day and Sat­ur­day at the Hicksville High School.

The Relay for Life is a fundraiser for the Amer­i­can Can­cer Soci­ety, with pro­ceeds going to can­cer research and to assist can­cer patients.

Sur­vivor reg­is­tra­tion and refresh­ments begin at 5:15 Fri­day and open­ing cer­e­monies will be from 6–7 p.m..

A car cruise-in begins at 7 p.m. and a silent auc­tion is set for 7 p.m.-midnight.

Laps around the track will begin at 11 p.m,

The 5K run/walk starts at 9 a.m. Saturday.
