Hoops Race Update

The results for the 81st District seat in the Ohio House of Representatives are still coming in. Incumbent Republican, Jim Hoops faces off against Janet Breneman, a non-party-affiliated write-in candidate, for the seat. Hoops was appointed to the house in January 2018. Breneman faced an uphill battle, running independently in an overwhelmingly conservative district.
