A house fire in Paulding County Thursday morning severely damaged the residence and displaced two persons. Cecil-Crane Township firefighters were called to 11890 Paulding County Road 180 – just west of U.S. 127 and about two miles south of Cecil – at 6:24 a.m. Thursday. Fire Chief Bob Herber stated that the fire was caused by a pump house heater issue in the residence’s garage. That structure ignited and the fire then spread to the house.
