The Bryan City Schools Board of Education learns about how the district used nearly $1 million dollars in federal grants this past school year…and was told next year would likely be similar. One grant was for $370,000 dollars. Another 60,000 dollars was used for a class size reduction for first grade. Others are used for tutoring and social workers…and working with special education students. In total, more than $967,000 in federal grants have been used.
