In Edon

The Edon Village Council learned this week two building projects are nearing completion. Village Fiscal Officer Heidi Bidwell reported the maintenance building should be finished within the month. She also said the village’s salt barn is nearing completion. The structure will be 16 by 20 feet and hold 40-50 tons of salt. Big garbage pickup for all villagers will be Oct. 15. Residents can contact the village office for rules and regulations on what is allowed to be put out, and flyers will be hung in various locations around the village outlining the rules. A tire pickup is also being slated for the week of Oct. 17.
