Unemployment rates for the six-county area all increased from November to December, that’s according to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The highest unemployment rate was Henry County at 5.1 percent, with Putnam County having the lowest at 3.5. Putnam County again had one of the lowest rates in the state. The majority of the six-county area was below the statewide average unemployment rate, not seasonally adjusted, at 4.5 percent.
