Members of the Port Authority meets with Williams County commissioners for a quarterly update. Bill Martin, president of Spangler Candy and a Port Authority member, presented the commissioners with data…showing new housing units in counties throughout northwest Ohio, as well as those in neighboring Indiana. In the period from April 1, 2020, to July 1, 2021, Williams County had 11 new housing units, fewest in the region. Fulton County led northwest Ohio with 34, followed by Defiance County.
