Michigan Woman Stopped After Pursuit Ending In Steuben County

A woman from Bat­tle Creek, Michi­gan has been arrested fol­low­ing a police pur­suit which started in Michi­gan and ended in Steuben County.

24-year-old Martha-Rhea Ash­ley Lusk is now charged with a Level 6 felony of Resist­ing Law Enforce­ment, plus a Class A mis­de­meanor for theft after she was stopped by Angola Police and the Steuben County Sheriff’s Depart­ment, who had to resort to using stop sticks at the 354 mile marker to bring her to a halt by deflat­ing the tires of the Lin­coln that she ws dri­ving, and allegedly had stolen, in Detroit.

She is being held in the Steuben County Jail with bond set at $10,000.
