Mobile home near Miller City destroyed by fire early Monday morning

A mobile home near Miller City was destroyed by fire early Monday morning. According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, at 2:14 a.m., crews from Miller City Fire Department were called to a fire in the 18300 block of Putnam County Road E-16, east of Continental where they found the mobile home fully engulfed with fire. Miller Fire officials report that the residents of the mobile home were able to exit the structure safely. The home was a total loss.
