New mayors take over

With the new year, new may­ors in the coun­ties were sworn into office. In Pauld­ing Vil­lage, Gregg Rine­hart held his first meet­ing on Mon­day as mayor. The new mayor was sworn in with new coun­cil­men in Napoleon at a meet­ing Mon­day night. Jason Maas­sel was elected mayor there in November.
In Arch­bold, Brian Huff­man was sworn in as counsel’s newest mem­ber, fol­low­ing in his grandfather’s foot­steps, hav­ing served on Coun­cil many years ago. As for the new mayor there, Jeff Fry­man was sworn in as Archbold’s 32nd mayor on Monday.
