Ohio homeowners who signed long-term contracts with MV Realty of Ohio have until April 29 to cancel those agreements under one-time offer.

Ohio homeowners who signed long-term contracts with MV Realty of Ohio have until April 29 to cancel those agreements under a one-time offer that allows them to walk away without repaying any upfront cash they received. The agreements, known as Homeowner Benefit Agreements, can be canceled during a 90-day window ending April 29. To terminate the contract, homeowners must notify MV Realty and pay a one-time fee to cover the cost of recording the termination with their county recorder. Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said the contracts carried long-term financial consequences that some homeowners may not have fully understood when they signed.
