Winning bid in online auction for former Community Memorial Hospital building.

Columbus Hicksville Healthcare LLC had the winning bid in an online auction recently for the former Community Memorial Hospital building and adjacent 20.56 acres. The purchase price includes the bid of $1.8 million plus a marketing fee of $90,000 to Crexi (CXTTechnology LLC) for conducting the 48-hour online auction. The bidder has submitted the earnest money deposit of $189,000, which is 10% of the purchase price according to a report submitted to Defiance County Common Pleas Court by the court-appointed receiver Ron Winters. The sale is expected to close by Feb. 12.
