The Williams County Port Authority is one step closer to their goal of developing housing opportunities in the county after accepting a residential property last week. The authority is accepting property in Montpelier from the Williams County Land Reutilization Corporation. The board authorized Dawn Fitzcharles, clerk-treasurer, to execute legal documents to accept 503 Ohio St. in Montpelier, which currently is a vacant lot. Groundbreaking is expected by the end of the year
