Operation Clean Duds receives grant to purchase more supplies

Operation Clean Duds recently received a $1,000 grant from the Defiance Area Foundation to purchase more supplies for their laundry events and provide quarters to those in the community who are participating. Operation Clean Duds provides free laundry events to those under 200% of the federal poverty guidelines, or with an urgent need, by supplying detergent, dryer sheets, laundry bags and the quarters needed to wash and dry up to four loads per family member.
