The Defiance Post of the State Highway Patrol has a new post commander. Sgt. Robert Ashenfelter was promoted to Lieutenant yesterday, and will transfer from the Findlay District Criminal Investigation office. He’s been a trooper since 1998. He’s worked in Toledo, Bowling Green, and Swanton.
