Farmers hurt by the trade war get good news, as the third round of the 2019 Market Facilitation Program payments are approved in Washington. The payments are aimed at helping farmers, suffering from trade retaliation. Williams County farmers who do qualify will receive $67 per acre, with a cap of $250,000 per person or legal entity. Producers who were unable to plant their planned crop but planted an FSA-certified cover crop, do qualify for a reduced payment of $15 per acre.
