The payments are aimed at helping farmers, suffering from trade retaliation. Williams County farmers who do qualify will receive $67 per acre, with a cap of $250,000 per person or legal entity. Producers who were unable to plant their planned crop but planted an FSA-certified cover crop, do qualify for a reduced payment of $15 per acre.
