PLEA IN DEFIANCE

A man entered pleas to six felonies Thurs­day in Defi­ance County Com­mon Pleas Court, includ­ing an aggra­vated rob­bery charge.

19 year old Stephon Davis of Defi­ance pleaded guilty to aggra­vated rob­bery; and four counts of bur­glary; and no con­test to ille­gal use of a minor in nudity-oriented mate­r­ial. He already was found guilty of the last charge.

A pre-sentence inves­ti­ga­tion was ordered and his bond was con­tin­ued. Sen­tenc­ing was sched­uled for July 25.

The max­i­mum prison term Davis is look­ing at for the charges is 43 1/2 years, how­ever pros­e­cu­tors are rec­om­mend­ing 14 years in prison.
