Police investigating suspicious activity in the area

Early Saturday morning a rural Steuben County resident just 3 miles north of Orland was letting her dog out just before 2 a.m when she saw an individual dressed in black with a back-pack jump from her porch. She called 9-1-1 and Steuben County Sheriffs Officers responded immediately, doing a full search of the property and neighboring areas. On Sunday Nevada Mills residents saw 2 individuals looking in mailboxes who were not authorized to be doing so. The suspects have not been apprehended.
