Defiance Police arrests Robert Poppe…after a short foot chase, on Friday. Officers want to talk to Poppe about another matter at a Greer Street address, concerning two felony warrants. As they knock on the front door…Poppe bolts out. Soon…word comes…he’s seen running along Webster…then, High Street. Deputies were able to arrest him behind a home on East High Street. He’s in CCNO now…on a list of charges.
