Putnam Death Investigation

In Pauld­ing County, an inves­ti­ga­tion is under­way into the death of a Payne man. Pauld­ing County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a home on Town­line Street in Payne on Sat­ur­day morn­ing, for an unre­spon­sive man. When they arrived, they found 50 year old Cary Par­sons dead in the kitchen. Pauld­ing County Sher­iff Jason Lan­ders issued a state­ment to the press on Sat­ur­day, in which he said the ini­tial assess­ment of the death brought up some con­cerns. Now, the Ohio Attor­ney General’s Bureau of Crim­i­nal Inves­ti­ga­tions Crime Scene Inves­ti­ga­tion Unit is assist­ing with the inves­ti­ga­tion. So far today, no addi­tional details have been released, but the inves­ti­ga­tion is expanding.
