Rain Blamed For Truck Crash

A rollover accident in DeKalb County is being blamed on the weekend’s downpours. 59 year old Jack Szeman of Hamilton was trying to enter I-69 on the southbound entrance ramp from U.S. 6 when his Ford F-350 went out of control on the water covered pavement Saturday night just after 11PM. The truck skidded off the ramp and slammed into an earth embankment, then rolled over. Szeman was not hurt in the crash. According to police, it was a combination of water on the road, along with the poor condition of the truck’s tires that caused the accident.
