Sam Steffes named as interim village administrator

A former mayor and councilman has been tapped to fill the void left by the resignation of the Edon village administrator. In a special meeting Thursday evening, the Edon Village Council voted to hire Sam Steffes as the interim village administrator. He will temporarily replace Randy Mahlman, who resigned to take a position as the water and wastewater supervisor for West Unity.
