Before The Central Local Board of Education met Monday afternoon, board members toured the school facilities.
Part of the high school tour included looking at building entrancees, safety procedures and items that need to be fixed on the building.
They also met with the high school student council and had lunch, before having the senior class sit in during the regular meeting session.
The Bryan Times reports that at their regular meeting, The Board investigated several projects and grants, including House Bill 264, which they say will redo lighting in the gym, classrooms and hallways to conserve waste.
The School Board is also said to be looking at safety grants through the Ohio School Facilities Commission to improve school security measures.
