An Edon man is sentenced to six years in prison in the traffic death of an Edgerton couple last year. Prosecutors accused John Smith of being under the influence at the time. Smith pled guilty in a Williams County courtroom to vehicular homicide, DUI and more. Back in May, 2018, Smith collided head-on with another vehicle on U.S. 20, near Ohio 49. The driver of the other vehicle, David Williams and his wife, Roberta, both of Edgerton, were killed in the crash.
