Solar For School

Officials for Millcreek-West Unity Schools are going over options to install solar panels on district property…all in a move to save on energy costs for the school system. They say it would complement the district’s intention to convert its fluorescent lights to LED, which could save the district even more on energy costs in the process. Right now, the board is in talks with a property owner about buying six acres of land for the project.
