A truck driver ends up with minor injuries in a solo crash on the Ohio Turnpike, west of Wauseon. Officials say the dump truck, driven by Edward White of Toledo was eastbound at Mile Post 30.3…when he noticed the bed of the truck was raising. It then hits the County Road 19 overpass in Fulton County and flies off the vehicle. The truck goes off the right side of the road…hitting sign post, a ditch, and a fence. White was wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries. He was cited for operating an unsafe vehicle. The overpass suffered extensive damage and was closed. It will be assessed for repairs by the Fulton County Highway Department. The accident remains under investigation.
