Stryker Public Library to hold open house

The Stryker Public Library is holding a sausage and ice cream fundraiser next week.
Residents are invited to stop by before or after visiting Stryker’s back-to-school open house. Food will be served on the lawn from 4-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at the library on S. Defiance St. The event is organized by the Friends of the Stryker Public Library and will have sausage donated by Rusty and Sue Gobel and ice cream donated from the Stryker General Store. Other menu items will include hot dogs, chips and homemade cookies. Free will donations will benefit ongoing programs and upgrades to the Stryker library building.
