The Auglaize Golf Club has new owners

The Auglaize Golf Club has new owners. Greg Porter and Gary Cooper entered into a purchase agreement for the 18-hole course on Thursday. The two men had owned the course with 11 other individuals and are in the process of buying the remaining shares. The sale price has not been disclosed as the duo are in the process of buying the remaining shares. The Paulding County auditor’s website values the course at $489,500. The last time the course sold was in 2003, and the purchase price was $956,001. The golf club sale includes the equipment, carts, course, clubhouse and the 19th Hole on the River restaurant.
