Threat Clears Store

A bomb threat forces an evacuation of the Swanton Kroger store on Thursday. Officers were dispatched…when they get there, a worker there tells them they got a call from a man…who told them to bring money from the til…outside. The employee on the phone refuses. That’s when the suspect tells of two bombs…somewhere inside the store. In minutes, the building is cleared…a police dog is brought in from Toledo PD. After a long check…no explosive devices are found…the store is reopened. Detectives continue their work in the case at this hour.
