Traffic blitzes during prom season

Here are the results of the latest traffic enforcement blitz in April over two weekends, called an April prom blitz.
According to Fulton County Sheriff Roy Miller, deputies made 31 traffic stops and issued eight citations. The blitz ran in conjunction with the Pettisville and Fayette high school proms. The citations issued were all for speed violations. Deputies also issued 24 warnings during the blitz.
The traffic enforcement blitzes are paid for from a grant that the sheriff’s office received from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
