Former Paulding Co. probation dept. director sentenced to prison

In Paulding County, the former Probation Department Director was sentenced to prison for theft in office on Monday.
46-year-old Emily Munger of Payne stole more than $7,500 over a two and a half-year period in 2013 through 2015 while head of the probation department. She was fired from her job in July last summer. The judge also gave Munger a lifetime ban from public employment or position of trust. She must pay about $10,000 restitution and additional court costs, and will serve 18 months in prison.
