Luebrecht Gets Life In Prison

A Fort Jennings man is sentenced to life in prison after a retrial on an aggravated murder charge involving his toddler son. Michael Luebrecht will be eligible for parole in 20 years. Luebrecht’s counsel told the court earlier that Luebrecht did not deny that he drowned his son in the bathroom of his home in 2005, but stated his medication gave him suicidal and homicidal tendencies. Jurors did not accept that defense.
